My Favorite Comic Book Character is...

...the Wolverine. He initially appealed to me for several reasons. First he is a small guy, and growing up I was always pretty short (now I'm just blessed with average height). Second he never really had any common powers (until after they created him) in that his main power was to heal from nearly anything (which turned into healing from anything). He always was made even more powerful because his skeleton is laced with an unbreakable metal alloy thus making it so he could, virtually, never die.

Now he appeals to me because he is deeper then he appears (and to me he has a lot of potential as a character that hasn't been fully fleshed out by comic writers). He is mostly a loner. He has been trained to be a lethal and efficient assassin. Until recently his past was completely unknown and was a source of personal anguish. He generally is pretty rough around the edges but occasionally displays a slight soft side. All in all he is an interesting character and a powerful hero, who unfortunately has been exploited in recent times.
