P90X After 60 Days

The time has come for the next update in the P90X challenge. I finshed my workouts through 60 days just prior to leaving for San Francisco leaving my off week during my conference trip. So without further ado here is what I look like, side profile after 60 days:More after the break.

As I had hoped, I was able to get down to 175 just prior to leaving. I also only gained 2 pounds while away which is a personal best. I tried to maintain diet, but this was challenging since food was expensive and I ended up wasting huge portions of food because there was no fridge in my hotel room (or at least I couldn't open it). I also crashed a couple times but not to the extent that I used to. Upon my return I quickly lost the weight and now am back to 175.

As you can see from the above image I have lost significant weight since Day 1 and even have some noticeable results since Day 30. From what I can tell there is significantly less belly overhang, more ab definition, and more chest size. My arm looks the same. My Day 1 pic makes me look hideous because I am so damned hairy. I look like a freaking monster or at least like this.

The routine was challenging during block 2, but I still managed to improve weights/reps each week. I also hit the mental wall in the second week (of 3) of this block but managed to keep it together and turn it on for the final week. This final block is 4 weeks long instead of 3 and will alternate the exercises from block 1 and 2 weekly. I'm hoping the rapid fire changes will keep me from wanting to quit and also the excitement of being done. I definitely want to take a break from this at the end and work out with my buddy Adam Wise (full name for the google creds).

Since I am at 175 now I will go harder with my diet and try to get down to 165 or less. I can do this due to the 4 week time-frame. I would love to see 159 for the first time since I was 12 (???) and will push very hard these next 4 weeks to get the job done. I will provide any updates I can and will send a pic of the scale when I hit 165 and less. Also be ready for the final episode of "I'm Fat!" (YES, I said final... more details to come at that time) shortly after I'm done. Stef is hard at work filming my progress and I am going to go hard to compile it quickly.

This is it folks... this is what we've all been waiting for!
