Struggling with P90X

After 5 weeks I finally began to hit a wall with my training. I woke up this time last week and just couldn't bring myself to work out. I knew I had to, but I just didn't want to. Of course, I didn't let that stop me and I went anyways. Normally during a workout I can keep motivated during, but every workout this week (except for yesterday's) I wanted to stop at every point along the way. I managed to do everything without stopping and I even managed to improve in every single exercise, but it wasn't easy to force myself. That's exactly what I had to do force myself.

I felt like a 3 year old kid saying "no" at every moment and being a combative mother all at the same time. Of course, now it gets easier because this is the final week of block two before I get my rest week. It works out perfectly that I get the rest week during my trip to San Francisco for the Biophysical Society Meeting. I just have to stay good and not crash my diet which wouldn't be hard except that eating out is no good.

Now I am halfway through the program and in 2 weeks I'll post my second update on my progress. I just have to survive a little longer...

You might have to put an additional carb into your diet if you are feeling tired during your workouts. Great job though. Also, when traveling, think fish and chicken salads. This helps. Keep it up and keep pushing play!
