single molecule obs. of dna hybridization kinetics

The technique used in this talk is pretty cool although the talk itself is pretty bad.I must say I don't quite get the reason but I can see potential.

They used optical tweezers to trap liquid droplets created from an immulsion. In the droplets were dsdna (single molecule) and they were checking out melting phase kinetics via FRET. While interesting I think this same thing can be done a little simpler.
