Google the Google in Google's Google

In my work endeavors I need to make tables and such for data purposes (mostly for rereading my published notebook). Previously I had to make a table in HTML or CSS and input data manually. But recently I changed this to make a spreadsheet using Google Documents. The great folks who work over at OpenWetWare have enabled embedding of Google Docs so that one may write such a spreadsheet and show it in my notebook instead of linking it (see here). Wait a second, what did Google do now?

That's right... Google has created a microsoft office type program all on the internet. You can make spreadsheets, presentations (slide shows), documents (ie word), and (maybe) more. You can save them, export them, publish them to the world. They even make thousands of julienne fries. Google also has a whole slew of things they are trying to use to take over the wo... I mean make people's lives easier and more convenient.

I don't know which analogy is more applicable here:

That's right in the near future, either everything will be named Google or Google will send back a terminator to kill it's only competition... Steve Jobs.

For one more possible scenario look up "South Park - Trapper Keeper" somewhere on the internet.
