Before and After

The summer that I moved to Albuquerque, I decided to drastically change my look. So there was a time that I looked like this:

I was shaved and pretty and had a sweet necklace (barely visible). Since that moment two years ago I have changed my look drastically and through the magic of computers and Koch's (my grad school adviser) expertise I can show the world my more accurately modeled updated image:

That, by the way, is a slightly outdated version of myself. I say this because it is plain to see that in that image I have curly hair. As of current times, my hair is too short to be curly and so Koch needs to make a more updated version of myself using this super accurate age rendering software.

How did he get this picture? Well as you know, the lab performs research in single molecule analysis using force spectroscopy on DNA molecules. We have software that actually takes a sample of DNA and can create an accurate image of the person and model their aging. Very cutting edge.

This image is courtesy of KochLab and should not be reproduced to put my face on weapons of mass destruction, under any circumstances. If my face is to go on a WMD, then I want to make a much prettier version using Illustrator and Photoshop. And it will be my WMD.
