More Cereal Woes

Today I decided to go cereal shopping again. Apparently after the Mateys I didn't learn my lesson about generic cereal. This time it was Albertson brand Raisin Bran Crunch. Raisin Bran Crunch (from Kellogg's) is tied for second favorite cereal with Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs and after Honey Bunches of Oats.

I opted for the store brand because it was on sale at nearly half the price of the tried-and-true Kellogg version. How could I go wrong? I mean the Mateys were weird with their non-specific shapes but other than that they were identical to Lucky Charms. So I picked up a box and headed home.

Let me describe the contents of this cereal to you all first. Raisin Bran Crunch is composed of crunchy oat flakes, oat clusters, and raisins. ARBC (Albertson Raisin Bran Crunch) is composed of the exact same materials. Maybe they taste slightly different, but I don't know.

I pour myself a bowl in anticipation. I can't wait to get those crunch flakes and delicious raisins into my belly. As I pour I notice something... lots of flakes, but no raisins, no oat clusters. What is going on? I just want a delicious crunchy cereal. Why can't I have all 3? Why do I only get flakes? If I wanted oat flakes I would have just bought Total. Who only wants flakes? No one thats who!

I pulled the bag out of the box expecting to see a little midget hoarding all the raisins and oats to himself. I sift through the bag, but couldn't find the midget. He must have escaped with the goods. But not to my surprise, there are 3 visible raisins in the box. I didn't look real hard for oats, but I didn't see any of those.

When I get my hands on that little midget I am going to put him through the wringer for taking my raisins. No one messes with my food and gets away with it.
