Movie Time

Between basketball and UFC we watched a couple of films today. The first was the Lookout followed by 28 Weeks Later.

The Lookout:
This is a good movie. A boy makes a terrible mistake as a teenager, kills 2 of his friends and injures his girlfriend in a car accident. He also ruins his promising hockey career and severely injures his head. 4 years later he is rebuilding his life and gets mixed up with lowlifes who convince him to rob a bank. This movie stars the kid from 3rd rock from the Sun, Jeff Daniels plays his blind friend, and other people star in other roles. It is a good movie for anyone to watch and is under 2 hours which is great for a drama of this caliber.

28 Weeks Later:
Terrible movie. This picks up where the last movie left off. Britain is overrun by people infected by the rage virus which effectively turns people into zombies. All the zombies die of starvation and Britain is reopen to the world. Then crappiness ensues and the zombies reemerge. It was only an hour and a half and I still didn't want to get to the ending. Too many stupid things in this movie to make it even decent. If you must watch it, don't say I didn't warn you.
